The Witcher — Season 2 Still Images
Netflix has released a total of six images based on the upcoming season of the hit-show The Witcher! The following images portray Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri. Without further ado:

Story
The following season will be primarily focused on the third chronological book, Blood of Elves. The first season was based on the two prequel books: The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny. Those two books were largely a collection of short stories. It was largely a faithful adaptation, so one can expect a faithful retelling of Blood of Elves in the upcoming season. The third book is where the main saga begins.
One can hope for the eventual adaptation of the rest of the book series.
Judging by the images, there appears to be one main difference: In the books, Geralt is aware that Yennefer is alive and eventually decides to send Ciri to her to complete her training. However, the show implies that Geralt assumes Yennefer is dead, so it will be interesting to see how Geralt decides to complete Ciri’s training… Perhaps Triss will have an expanded role.
The series is expected to arrive during late 2021, but this is far from certain.
